Technological Advances in Chilean Mining

We are proud to announce the commissioning of two German technology dust collection systems for open-pit copper mine crushers in northern Chile. These systems, implemented under the names Project Oxide and Project Sulfides, represent a significant step in our mission to improve efficiency and sustainability in the mining sector.
Cutting-Edge Technology: The dust collection systems are programmed with Siemens S7-1500 PLCs and use frequency converters from Danfoss and ABB respectively. Additionally, they incorporate advanced technology for measuring residual currents, airflow, and suction pressure.
Reengineering and Communication: We have carried out a complete reengineering of both projects, adding the use of Moxa and Prosoft Gateways to establish communications with other equipment from different brands provided by subcontractors. This integration ensures smooth and efficient operation.
Electrical Commissioning: In addition to commissioning the automation logic, we have carried out the general electrical commissioning of the control system, instrumentation, and Boge air compressors.
International Collaboration: This initiative highlights the importance of international cooperation in adopting cutting-edge technologies for mining.
